Paper-Wood

特注家具工房のFULLSWINGと共同で2007年に立ち上げた「合板研究所」で開発した新しい合板。木の単板の間に色のついた再生紙を挟み込みプレスすることで、木口にカラフルなストライプが現れるこの合板は、木口を積極的に魅せるという新しい使い方を生み出した。

Paper-Wood was developed in 2007 by the Plywood Laboratory in collaboration with FULLSWING, custom-made furniture studio. It consists of colored recycled-paper and wooden sheets. This new plywood suggests new way of using plywood as the pattern appeared in its edge holds colorful and beautiful expression which has never found in existing plywood.
