マテリアルリサイクルの「もうひとつの方法」として誕生したリサイクルプラスチックサービス、Parallel Plastics（パラレルプラスチックス）。素材ごとに分別して、洗浄、さらにバージンプラスチックを足して再生する従来のリサイクルではなく、ローエネルギー・ローコストを目指し、そのままリサイクルする方法を提供している。異なる色や組成のプラスチックを混ぜることで生まれる、天然物のような美しいテクスチャが最大の特徴。そのテクスチャをいかした強度の要らないプロダクトへの転換を提案している。

The recycled plastic service Parallel Plastics was born as an alternative method for material recycling. Waste plastic is sorted according to the material, washed, and then recycled by adding virgin plastic. In contrast with the conventional approach, Parallel Plastics aims for low-energy and low-cost recycling. The most prominent feature is the beautiful texture that resembles natural materials created by mixing different colors and compositions of plastic.. We want to propose a shift to use this kind of plastic for products where texture is more important than strength.
