つくし文具店は、かつて東京郊外の街にあった街の文房具店を受け継ぎ新しいコンセプトの文具店として誕生した。住宅の倉庫だった場所をリノベーションしたこのお店は、文具店にとどまらず、オリジナル文具の開発、ワークショップの開催などを行っている。つくし文具のコレクションは、この文具店のためにデザインされた。

Design director Shu Hagiwara inherited a stationery shop that was abandoned 30 years ago located in the beautiful Tokyo suburbs. Driven by the urge to bring life back to the abandoned warehouse that his mother has left, Hagiwara wanted to rebuild and renovate the stationery shop. TSUKUSHI was born from his strong desire to design an unique store that gathers people and provide them an opportunity to interact with its original stationery products. Drill Design is responsible for the whole interior design, graphical identity and product design.
